Ready for the holiday weekend? Catch up with everything you might have missed this past week at Dean Michaels Studio!

Camille & Dean's wedding took place at the Madison Hotel in Morristown, NJ in September of 2010.

Before we get started with the recap, Dean Michaels Studio would like to wish a heartfelt congratulations to all of our happy couples who tied the knot this past weekend: Janee & Dino and Michelle & Gregory! Enjoy the honeymoon!

First off, we started the week out by sharing some beautiful photos from Christine & Benjamin’s July 2012 wedding (blog post, blog gallery, Facebook album), as well as some great images from Rachel & Ryan’s summer 2011 wedding shared over at Atelier Isabey’s invitation design blog (blog post, Atelier Isabey). We then shared some fun photos from Samantha’s Bat Mitzvah (blog post, blog gallery, Facebook album). After that, Dean Michaels Studio continued on in the week with Rosanna & Marcus’ Hoboken engagement shoot (blog post, blog gallery, Facebook album), before sharing Round 9 of our Best of Weddings Facebook Competition winners Noreen & Robert (blog post, blog gallery, Facebook album).

It was a beautiful spring day back in 2009 when Dean Michaels Studio had the privilege of photographing NJ couple Amanda and John’s wedding day! We started off the day with Amanda and her girls at her family’s home in Essex Falls, NJ before meeting up with John and the rest of their family and friends in time for the ceremony at Saint Catherine of Siena Parish in Cedar Grove, NJ. After some formals outside the church, it was time to head over to the reception at the Manor in West Orange, NJ, where we got some more beautiful formal photos of the bride and groom both on and off the dance floor

It was an amazing day last August when our Dean Michaels Studio photographers were lucky enough to shoot Valerie and Mike’s New Jersey wedding day. Starting off with Valerie and her girls at her family home in Hasbrouck Heights, NJ, it was then off to meet up with Mike and his guys at Skylands Manor in Ringwood, NJ. After an adorable amount of first sight shots and spectacular formals, our NJ photographers then spent the rest of the day with the happy couple and their family and friends at Skylands for both the ceremony and the reception. With such a creative and energetic couple, Dean Michaels Studio is thrilled at how their photos came out, and we know you will be too!

Erica and Leo made it official this past May, and it was a fun occasion for all. The day started bright and early at Erica’s parent’s home in Harding Township, NJ, and before long, the beautiful ceremony at Christ the King Church in New Vernon, NJ was taking place. It was then off to capture some amazing formals before the reception at the Park Avenue Club in Florham Park, NJ, where this extremely creative couple had fun goofing around and getting some awesome candid shots.

Our NJ photographers here at Dean Michaels Studio were absolutely thrilled to spend Susana and Jeff’s wedding day with them this past June. From starting the day off in the bridal suite, to the ceremony and finally ending the night at the reception, Nanina’s in the Park in Belleville, NJ was an awesome location for such a fun-loving and special couple. The day was filled with a lot of love and laughter, and their photos couldn’t have come out more amazing – it truly was a great day with a great couple.

A lot of our NJ couples today are leaning towards seeing one another before the ceremony to take some of their formals – not only does it mean they get to spend more time at their cocktail hours and receptions, but it also means we get to capture what is dubbed the “first sight” – or the first time the happy couple lays eyes on one another on their wedding day. Dean Michaels Studio loves these super creative shots, because it means we get to physically capture a moment that our couples will remember for the rest of their lives – and what’s better than that?

Everyone here at Dean Michaels Studio is happy to announce Dana and Andrew as the winning couple for round 4 of our Best of Weddings Facebook Competition! It was a lovely day this past June when they got married, and we were thrilled to start of the day with Andrew at his home in Hoboken, and with Dana at the W Hotel (also in Hoboken). It was then off to the ceremony at Saint Ann Church (also in Hoboken), and our NJ photographers were excited to continue taking the couple’s formals along the water in-between the ceremony and the reception at the Westmount Country Club in West Paterson, NJ. With over 150 likes on their Facebook sampler, they blew the rest of the competition away, which allows us to share their amazing images with you (don’t forget to like their wedding album on our Facebook page). It was a day of fun and laughter, and we couldn’t have chosen a nicer couple to win the round

Everyone here at Dean Michaels Studio just knew that when we saw Tara and Alex’s engagement photos (blog gallery), their wedding photos were going to be absolutely spectacular – and we weren’t wrong! Starting the day off with the bride at her family home in Cedar Knolls, NJ, it was then off to the ceremony and reception at the Stone House at Stirling Ridge in Warren, NJ. This happy couple (as well as their bridal party) really got into taking some super fun shots – and the outside formals with the full moon at the end of the night? Everyone here at Dean Michaels Studios – the best New Jersey wedding photography - was absolutely thrilled to be a part of this couple’s lovely NJ wedding. Kristy and Dean’s September 2011 nuptials started off with photos at the bride’s family home in Basking Ridge, NJ, followed by a beautiful ceremony at Saint James Church (also in Basking Ridge) and finishing up at their awesome reception at the Pleasantdale Chateau in West Orange, NJ. We had so much fun with the couple and their family and friends, and we absolutely adore how great their wedding photos came out.
