We’re so excited to start off the first round of our Best of Weddings 2013 Facebook Contest! The rules are the same as last year’s competition: every month, a photo album will be uploaded to our Facebook page containing a sampler from all of our 2013 weddings.

The goal for each couple involved in the contest is to get the most likes on their particular photo by the end of the month in order to win a Dean Michaels Studio gift card!!! Voting for this album’s weddings will run from May 21st to June 21st – and the winning couple will also be automatically entered in another contest against all the other winners at the end of the year! So tell your family, tell your friends – and get to like-ing your favorite wedding images! Good luck!!!

It’s been another busy spring week here at New Jersey’s best wedding photography – Dean Michaels Studio! Scroll down and keep reading to take a look back at everything we’ve posted this week

We love this shot from Sean & Kristen's September 2012 wedding reception at the Madison Hotel in Morristown, NJ!

Firstly, we’d like to wish a heartfelt congratulations to Ashley, who celebrated her Sweet Sixteen this weekend, as well as our happy couples Harmony & Francis, Jocelyne & Matthew (check out their awesome engagement shoot here), and JoAnna & Fan (be sure to check out their engagement photos, too!), all of whom are tying the knot this weekend! We started off the week at the American Bridal Jersey City Bridal Show on Monday, where Rich had a great time talking to brides and enjoying the scenery at Michael Anthony’s Restaurant! Dean Michaels Studio then posted some really sweet photos from Ilyssa & Clarke’s Central Park engagement shoot (blog post, Facebook album). We also shared some really great engagement photos from Kristin & Ryan’s spring day in Hoboken (blog post, blog gallery, Facebook album).

Dean Michaels Studio is really looking forward to this Mother’s Day weekend, and we can’t wait to catch you up on all the awesome photos we’ve shared this week!

Jessica got ready for her wedding day to David back in September 2011 with her mom and her bridesmaids at her home in Elmwood Park, NJ!

After updating our Pinterest page and Instagram accounts earlier this week, we posted some really awesome classic wedding photos from Toni Ann & James’ 2008 fall wedding day (blog post, blog gallery). Dean Michaels Studio was also happy to announce that happy NJ couple Dana & Andrew won our Grand Prize Round for our Best of Weddings 2012 Facebook Contest, which after all nine rounds of competition (!), means that they’re wedding photos were voted the favorites of the year! Dean Michaels Studio is so happy to announce that Andrew and Dana won our Best of Weddings 2012 Grand Prize! Check out their awesome wedding photos here and take a look at their winning sampler below to learn a little bit more about the couple

How they first met: After having gone on multiple trips to Mt. Snow and Killington for years, it wasn’t until 2010 on one of those trips that they were more than casual acquaintances.

Dana’s favorite wedding memory: “Lights flashing, the music was pumping, I could feel all of our family and friends waiting inside for us, and that moment when the curtains lifted and I heard us announced as husband and wife for the first time! All I wanted to do was jump and dance and celebrate, and Andrew picked me up and spun me around, onto the dance floor, where we stayed all night!”

Andrew’s favorite wedding memory: “The guys got to the church super early, followed by a lot of waiting and watching all of our guests as they showed up and greeting them, and then more waiting. But all of a sudden, it seemed like just a few minutes later that the church was packed and I couldn’t wait any longer for the girls and Dana to arrive. That feeling of anticipation was so exciting and memorable, but the moment she stepped through the door and I could see her was my favorite moment, and I was just really happy to know that she was walking down the aisle towards me.”

Happy May Day, everyone! Dean Michaels Studio is thrilled to start off our newest wedding season with a look back at Toni Ann and James’ 2008 wedding day photos

Our New Jersey photographers started off that beautiful September day at Toni Ann’s home in Fairfield, NJ, and before too long it was time to meet up with James and their family and friends for the happy ceremony at Saint Thomas More Church (also in Fairfield). After the couple had some wonderful moments together up at the altar, it was time to go celebrate the rest of the night away at their reception at Ravello Ristorante and Catering in East Hanover, NJ. We remember how much fun the day was, and we’re so happy to share these wonderful memories with you!

Happy NJ couple Beth and Evan got married this past September, and did Dean Michaels Studio have a lot of fun photographing this couple! Starting off with Beth the morning of at her parent’s home in Morris Plains, NJ, it was then off to meet Evan at the lovely fall ceremony at the Villa Walsh Academy in Morristown, NJ. From there, we took some wonderful formals outside The Park Avenue Club in Florham Park, NJ before the couple’s reception. We had an absolutely fantastic time at this wedding, and we’re thrilled at how much the photos capture how much fun the entire day was with this couple
