How they first met: After having gone on multiple trips to Mt. Snow and Killington for years, it wasn’t until 2010 on one of those trips that they were more than casual acquaintances.

Dana’s favorite wedding memory: “Lights flashing, the music was pumping, I could feel all of our family and friends waiting inside for us, and that moment when the curtains lifted and I heard us announced as husband and wife for the first time! All I wanted to do was jump and dance and celebrate, and Andrew picked me up and spun me around, onto the dance floor, where we stayed all night!”

Andrew’s favorite wedding memory: “The guys got to the church super early, followed by a lot of waiting and watching all of our guests as they showed up and greeting them, and then more waiting. But all of a sudden, it seemed like just a few minutes later that the church was packed and I couldn’t wait any longer for the girls and Dana to arrive. That feeling of anticipation was so exciting and memorable, but the moment she stepped through the door and I could see her was my favorite moment, and I was just really happy to know that she was walking down the aisle towards me.”

It was a beautiful end of summer day this past August for Dean Michaels Studio when Nicole and William tied the knot. We started the day off with Nicole as she got ready at her dad’s home in Chatham, NJ, but it wasn’t too long before we were off to meet the groom and the rest of their friends and family at Saint Patrick’s Church (also in Chatham). Our NJ bride and groom finished the night at their reception, which was held at the Brooklake Country Club in Florham Park, NJ.

Dean Michaels Studio is so excited to announce the Round 6 winners of our Best of Weddings Facebook Competition – Meghan and John! Although it was a close match up between some of our other couples, Meghan & John took the win with about ten votes on their sampler to spare, and we’re so happy to be able to share their wedding day photos with you! We started this awesome August day with Meghan at her parent’s home in Madison, before heading out to Saint Vincent’s (also in Madison) to meet up with John and their family and friends to make it official. It was then off to the Park Avenue Club in Florham Park to dance the night away at the reception. They join past winners Erin & Tim, Kate & Chad, Dianna & Anthony, Dana & Andrew, and Jean Marie & Daniel for a chance to win the grand prize at the end of the year

It was a fun April day for our photographers at Dean Michaels Studio when they got to spend it capturing lasting memories at Laura and Paul’s New Jersey wedding. Starting the morning off with the bride at her family home in Dunellen, NJ, it was then off to meet the groom and shoot some formals before the beautiful ceremony at New Providence Presbyterian Church in New Providence, NJ. The happy couple ended the day dancing the night away at their reception held at the Grand Summit Hotel in Summit, NJ.

It was definitely an exciting wedding day for NJ couple Jenae and Justin last April. Starting off the day taking photos at the Madison Hotel in Morristown, NJ, it was then off to the Presbyterian Church of Madison in Madison, NJ for the happy couple’s ceremony. We finished the day back at the reception Madison Hotel, one of our favorite locations, and were so happy to capture what turned out to be a really fun ending to a crazy day. Even with the rain, our New Jersey photographers at Dean Michaels Studio got some amazing shots. It’s weddings like these that prove you can have a beautiful and fun wedding even when the weather doesn’t necessarily cooperate

Hi everyone! Hope the weekend is as busy for you as it is for us. Happy Memorial Day, everyone! Here’s to the weather clearing up (and a quick check at the weather forecast says it’s supposed to!) so that everyone can celebrate what many consider to be the first official holiday weekend of the summer outside barbecuing or down the shore. Just a reminder that our Madison studio will be closed tomorrow, Saturday, May 26, so we can enjoy the holiday too – so adjust your schedules accordingly if you’re planning on dropping by and picking anything up

This is also a very happy weekend for the following couples: Holly & Dave, Briana & George, Dianna & Anthony, and Deborah and Ian! Early congratulations are in order, and we can’t wait to capture your special day with you this Memorial Day weekend!
