It was a beautiful end of summer day this past August for Dean Michaels Studio when Nicole and William tied the knot. We started the day off with Nicole as she got ready at her dad’s home in Chatham, NJ, but it wasn’t too long before we were off to meet the groom and the rest of their friends and family at Saint Patrick’s Church (also in Chatham). Our NJ bride and groom finished the night at their reception, which was held at the Brooklake Country Club in Florham Park, NJ.

Dean Michaels Studio is so excited to announce the Round 6 winners of our Best of Weddings Facebook Competition – Meghan and John! Although it was a close match up between some of our other couples, Meghan & John took the win with about ten votes on their sampler to spare, and we’re so happy to be able to share their wedding day photos with you! We started this awesome August day with Meghan at her parent’s home in Madison, before heading out to Saint Vincent’s (also in Madison) to meet up with John and their family and friends to make it official. It was then off to the Park Avenue Club in Florham Park to dance the night away at the reception. They join past winners Erin & Tim, Kate & Chad, Dianna & Anthony, Dana & Andrew, and Jean Marie & Daniel for a chance to win the grand prize at the end of the year

Another week rolls by here at Dean Michaels Studio! Good luck finishing up your Thanksgiving shopping this weekend, and lets get into the recap!

Sara and Christopher got married in September of 2011 at Saint Lucy's in Newark, NJ and had their reception at Nanina's in the Park in Belleville, NJ.

First off, we’d like to congratulate Dara and David, who are getting married today! We can’t wait to see your photos, and have a great honeymoon

We started off the week Monday night at the Madison Hotel Bridal Show, where we met some amazing couples, and were surrounded by a bunch of other awesome vendors – we had such a great time! Tuesday, we posted some really fun photos from Kathy & Mijo’s engagement shoot (blog, blog gallery, Facebook album). Wednesday brought some gorgeous photos from Laura & Paul’s wedding day (blog, blog gallery, Facebook album), while Thursday had us posting some awesome photos from Susana & Jeff’s wedding day at Nanina’s in the Park (blog, blog gallery). Yesterday, we posted some super cute sweet sixteen photos from Jesse’s 2011 birthday bash (blog, blog gallery, Facebook album). We also posted some really awesome shots from Jodi & Jon, Karen & Jaime, and Jen & Daniel’s wedding up on our Facebook page. Our Pinterest page was also updated to account for all of this week’s new images, too!

Everyone at Dean Michaels Studio is thrilled to announce that Jean Marie and Daniel are the Round 5 winners for our Best of Weddings Facebook Competition!!! The day started off with the bride at her family home in Cranford, NJ, before it was off to meet the happy groom at the Church of the Assumption in Roselle Park, NJ. From there, it was off to take formals and finally end the night having a blast at the reception hosted by Seasons in Washington Township, NJ.

Our New Jersey wedding photographers had such a fun time with Karen and Jaime on their wedding day this past April. Starting off the day with the bride and her girls at the Doubletree Hotel in Tarrytown, NY and with a second shooter with the groom and his guys in Eatontown, NJ, it was then off to the ceremony at The English Manor’s gazebo in Ocean, NJ. The reception was then held in The English Manor’s main reception hall. This NJ wedding was extremely spirited, and we were so happy that our couple was so animated when it came to their formal photographs. It made for a fun night for us too!

It was definitely an exciting wedding day for NJ couple Jenae and Justin last April. Starting off the day taking photos at the Madison Hotel in Morristown, NJ, it was then off to the Presbyterian Church of Madison in Madison, NJ for the happy couple’s ceremony. We finished the day back at the reception Madison Hotel, one of our favorite locations, and were so happy to capture what turned out to be a really fun ending to a crazy day. Even with the rain, our New Jersey photographers at Dean Michaels Studio got some amazing shots. It’s weddings like these that prove you can have a beautiful and fun wedding even when the weather doesn’t necessarily cooperate

After one week off for updates and the like, the weekly round-up is back!!! So sit back, relax, and find out what’s been happening this week in the online world of the best New Jersey wedding photography – Dean Michaels Studio!

This cake is from Carrie and Roberto's wedding in the summer of 2011 at the Merri-Makers Water's Edge in Sea Bright, NJ.

First off, congratulations to all our NJ brides and grooms getting married this week and weekend: Dana & Joseph, Jennifer & James, Kelly & Sean, Jenna & John, and Christie & Ryan!

If you haven’t noticed, we used last week to revamp our blog navigation and gallery settings, and are absolutely thrilled with the results. We’ll still post daily weddings, engagements, etc., but instead of having them load on the blog homepage, you can now click on the 2-3 photos in the blog to view all of the images in their own gallery page. This means a lot less load time for you, as well as giving us the opportunity to share more images on the blog. All of the galleries are now sorted by Engagement, Event, Portrait, Wedding and even specific Themed Galleries right there on the left hand side of the blog, so everything is easy to find too. We’ve also sorted all of our Categories into a compact drop down menu (also on the left), and made the Search bar more prominent when you’re looking for more specific images. Let us know what you think, or if you have any ideas as how to make the blog better for you by emailing the studio!

We started off our week back by posting some spectacular images from Bonnie and Alfredo’s wedding day (blog post, online image gallery), as well as from Matthew and Nicole’s beautiful summer 2011 wedding (blog post, online image gallery, Facebook album). We started a new monthly tradition by sharing a classic wedding – in this case, Natalia and Michael’s fun 2009 wedding at the Rockleigh Country Club (blog post, online image gallery). When we posted the photos from Lisa and David’s wedding from last year about a week ago, we were reminded of David’s sister Natalia and her husband Michael’s wedding from 2009. Starting off taking photos of this NJ bride at home in Northvale, NJ, then capturing the ceremony at Our Lady of the Magnificat Parish in Kinnelon, NJ and then finally to the extremely welcoming reception at the Rockleigh Country Club in Rockleigh, NJ, everyone here at Dean Michaels Studio is so happy to share the wedding photos from what has become one of our favorite families to work with.
