Our NJ photographers love shooting birthdays – especially ones that turn out like Samantha’s Bat Mitzvah! Dean Michaels Studio was thrilled we were able to be a part of her big day at the Madison Hotel in Morristown, NJ, and we couldn’t have had a better time with a more fun birthday girl Surrounded by her friends and family, this is definitely a day she will always remember.

It was such a fun day last December for the Dean Michaels Studio event photographers were lucky enough to photograph Marina’s Sweet Sixteen. Our New Jersey photographers were not only able to capture some awesome formals of the birthday girl with her family, but also the moments with her friends at the resulting party at the Bethwood in Totowa, NJ.

Dean Michaels Studio was so proud to be a part of Jordyn’s birthday celebrations in March of 2011. Starting off with at Jordyn’s ceremony surrounded by family and friends at the Temple Avodat Shalom in River Edge, NJ, it was then off to the W Hotel in Hoboken to finish honoring such a happy occasion!

It was definitely a celebration this past March when Kathryn celebrated her quinceanera! We started off the day with the birthday girl at her home in Westfield, NJ before heading out to the party at L’Affair in Mountainside, NJ. Hold on to your hats, everyone, it looks like this upcoming week is going to be a bumpy ride. Before you get swept away by the rain, though, check out all that’s been happening this past week at New Jersey Wedding Photography – Dean Michaels Studio!

Adrianna and Demetrios got married at a beautiful ceremony at Saint George's Church in Clifton, NJ!

Once again, we’re starting off the recap with congratulations to all of our couples tying the knot this weekend: Nicole & Mike, Jennifer & Patrick, Danielle & Andrew (check out their engagement photos here), Jamie & Jason, Kelly & Mark, and Teresa & Greg! We hope you get off on your honeymoon before the storm hits

We started off the week posting some really great website and executive portrait shots from our day spent with Mecca Integrated Medical Group (blog, blog gallery, Facebook album). The middle of the week was marked by both some fun engagement photos with Ashley and Robert (blog, blog gallery, Facebook album) as well as some really wonderful shots from past weddings we’ve photographed at the Park Savoy in Florham Park, NJ (blog, blog gallery, Facebook album). We also had a great time Wednesday night at the Conroy Creations Bridal Show! We ended the week with some more fantastic photos from Danielle and Matthew’s engagement shoot (blog, Wedding Thingz gallery) as well as from Karen and Jaime’s April 2012 wedding day (blog, blog gallery). And of course, all of these images can now be seen on our Pinterest page!

With the start of summer comes not only the start of the wedding season, but the heart of the sweet sixteen celebrations, too. Jesse’s Sweet Sixteen was held last summer, and the gorgeous views that we were able to capture for her and her guests at the New York Skyport Marina overlooking New York City made for great pictures… not to mention her party was a fantastic way to celebrate turning sixteen!

Rose and Lou’s 50th Anniversary Party was definitely a fun-filled family affair (unfortunately, we can’t take credit for their beautiful wedding photos, but how awesome is that last image that’s a modern day comparison between the two?). Surrounded by three (!) generations of family, their anniversary party was a master class in successful partnerships! Spring is in the air, which means that not only is it wedding and engagement season, but Sweet Sixteen and Quinceanera season, too. We always look forward to these events, because what’s more fun than photographing a wedding besides photographing a giant formal birthday party?

Catarina’s Sweet Sixteen took place at the Fairmount Country Club in Chatham, New Jersey, which is such a great location for events and weddings alike – speaking of which, we hope Catarina keeps us in mind for when her wedding comes along!

Spring is almost upon us and with it comes the hope and happiness of new weddings.  Dean Michaels Studio is always eager for the wedding season to really begin.  We look forward to it all winter because it gives us the chance to capture beauty at its finest, and share it with the happy newlyweds, friends and family.  A toast to Spring up and coming!
