Dean Michaels Studio has always been a fan of everything New Jersey, which is why we were thrilled to be able to take the portraits of Weird New Jersey founders Mark and Mark. Taken in November of 2012 in the Rosedale Cemetery & Crematorium in Montclair, NJ (how perfect of a Weird NJ spot is that?), our New Jersey photographer had an awesome time taking their portraits and swapping stories about their favorite spots in the Garden State.

Dean Michaels Studio had such a fun time hanging with Mark and Jack and the rest of the guys from Morristown Tire in Morristown, NJ in November of 2012. Our NJ photographer took some great shots in honor of their over 116 years (!) of service in Morris County, and we’re so happy to share these awesome photos with everyone!

Although a lot of our work here at Dean Michaels Studios surrounds engagements and weddings, it’s always a lot of fun when we get to show off some awesome portraiture work too. Our NJ photographers had a great day with the staff at Mecca Integrated Medical in Fairfield, NJ taking executive headshots of all the staff, as well as some really interesting photos of the work they do for their website. Sometimes a really great opportunity like this pops up for us, and you can tell by the photos how glad that we were able to help out Dr. Mike and his awesome staff!

Happy Bottle Hill Day to everyone in Madison! It’s also Saturday, though, so that means another recap of what’s been going on here at NJ’s Best Wedding Photography – Dean Michaels Studio!

We're super glad that the rain held out for Bottle Hill Day today!

First off, we’d like to give a heartfelt congratulations to all of our couples getting hitched this week: Amanda & Daniel, Kathy & Mijo, and Dara & Doug (check out their engagement shots here).

Now back to our regularly scheduled recap :]

We started off the week by announcing the start of voting for Round 5 of our Best of Weddings Facebook Competition. We also kicked off the month by sharing another classic wedding: this time, it was Tricia & Jason’s (blog, blog gallery) 2009 winter wonderland. It was then time to check out Allison & Steven’s February 2011 nuptials (blog, blog gallery, Facebook album), as well as a flashback to their engagement shoot (Facebook album). We finished off the week by posting some really entertaining wedding and engagement shots all under the theme of sports (blog, blog gallery) to give our future couples some ideas about how to tailor their photos more to their likes.

We’d also like to announce that Dean Michaels Studio will be closing early (3pm) today due to the street closures in effect for Bottle Hill Day. We will return to our regular schedule on Tuesday.
