It was a beautiful June wedding day spent with New Jersey couple Jennifer and Gregory for our Dean Michaels Studio photographers. Starting off taking photos of both the bride and groom as they got ready at the Somerset Hills Hotel in Warren, NJ, we then captured all the special moments leading up to the ceremony at Saint Teresa of Avila in Summit, NJ. From there, after some quick outdoor formals, our NJ photographers spent the rest of the night capturing amazing images of the happy couple at their reception at the Stone House at Stirling Hill, also in Warren, NJ.

It’s been another fun week here at NJ’s best wedding photography Dean Michaels Studio. Sit back, relax, and read about everything you may have missed out on!

Sharon and James were married in October 2011 at Frank Anthony's Restaurant in Verona, NJ!

Dean Michaels Studio started out the week posting some loving shots from Sherryl and Hoa’s NJ engagement shoot (blog post, blog gallery, Facebook album). It was then back to remembering the summertime when Kelly and Michael’s July 2012 wedding photos went up on Wednesday (blog post, blog gallery, Facebook album). We then were lucky enough to share with everyone some extremely fun commercial portrait shots taken with the guys over at Morristown Tire back in November (blog post, blog gallery, Facebook album). Dean Michaels Studio ended the week super excited to share the wedding photos of our Round 7 Facebook Competition winners Elissa and Jay (blog post, blog gallery, Facebook album). WeddingThingz.com also shared Christina and Jonathan’s awesome wedding images up on their real weddings blog (blog post, Wedding Thingz gallery).

We also were awarded Wedding Wire’s Bride Choice Award for 2013, and were named the highest rated wedding photographer/videographer on The Knot!

It was a busy and beautiful day for Dean Michaels Studio this past August when happy NJ couple Kristin and Ryan were busy tying the knot. Our New Jersey wedding photographers had so much fun taking photos of the couple all day at the Crystal Springs Country Club in Vernon, NJ, and we’re so happy to be able to share these wonderful moments with you! The sun was shining all day on this adorable couple, and we couldn’t have asked for more fantastic photos.

Our Dean Michaels Studio photographers were happy to capture Kristin and Matt’s wedding day in June 2011. With a photographer taking photos of the bride at the Molly Pitcher Inn in Red Bank, it wasn’t too long before Kristin was taking the walk up the aisle at Saint Agnes Church in Atlantic Highlands, NJ. After some amazing summer formals, it was then back to the Molly Pitcher Inn to finish the night off at the happy couple’s reception.

Dean Michaels Studio is so excited to announce the Round 6 winners of our Best of Weddings Facebook Competition – Meghan and John! Although it was a close match up between some of our other couples, Meghan & John took the win with about ten votes on their sampler to spare, and we’re so happy to be able to share their wedding day photos with you! We started this awesome August day with Meghan at her parent’s home in Madison, before heading out to Saint Vincent’s (also in Madison) to meet up with John and their family and friends to make it official. It was then off to the Park Avenue Club in Florham Park to dance the night away at the reception. They join past winners Erin & Tim, Kate & Chad, Dianna & Anthony, Dana & Andrew, and Jean Marie & Daniel for a chance to win the grand prize at the end of the year

Whoo! Hope everyone had a really nice Thanksgiving and Black Friday experience this week! We had a shortened week due to the holiday, but still have a recap to get through, so let’s get on with it, shall we?

Firstly, we’d like to take the time to congratulate all of our couples who were married this week/weekend: Patty & Gene (our very special Thanksgiving day bride and groom!) and Ashley & Joseph! Congratulations, again :]

We started the week off by posting a really fantastic same-day edit from Katerina & Frank’s 2011 nuptials (blog post, Vimeo), and then posted some really sweet photos from Janel & Bob’s 2012 summer wedding right before the holiday (blog post, blog gallery, Facebook gallery).

Everyone at Dean Michaels Studio is thrilled to announce that Jean Marie and Daniel are the Round 5 winners for our Best of Weddings Facebook Competition!!! The day started off with the bride at her family home in Cranford, NJ, before it was off to meet the happy groom at the Church of the Assumption in Roselle Park, NJ. After one week off for updates and the like, the weekly round-up is back!!! So sit back, relax, and find out what’s been happening this week in the online world of the best New Jersey wedding photography – Dean Michaels Studio!

This cake is from Carrie and Roberto's wedding in the summer of 2011 at the Merri-Makers Water's Edge in Sea Bright, NJ.

First off, congratulations to all our NJ brides and grooms getting married this week and weekend: Dana & Joseph, Jennifer & James, Kelly & Sean, Jenna & John, and Christie & Ryan!

If you haven’t noticed, we used last week to revamp our blog navigation and gallery settings, and are absolutely thrilled with the results. We’ll still post daily weddings, engagements, etc., but instead of having them load on the blog homepage, you can now click on the 2-3 photos in the blog to view all of the images in their own gallery page. This means a lot less load time for you, as well as giving us the opportunity to share more images on the blog. All of the galleries are now sorted by Engagement, Event, Portrait, Wedding and even specific Themed Galleries right there on the left hand side of the blog, so everything is easy to find too. We’ve also sorted all of our Categories into a compact drop down menu (also on the left), and made the Search bar more prominent when you’re looking for more specific images. Let us know what you think, or if you have any ideas as how to make the blog better for you by emailing the studio!

We started off our week back by posting some spectacular images from Bonnie and Alfredo’s wedding day (blog post, online image gallery), as well as from Matthew and Nicole’s beautiful summer 2011 wedding (blog post, online image gallery, Facebook album). We started a new monthly tradition by sharing a classic wedding – in this case, Natalia and Michael’s fun 2009 wedding at the Rockleigh Country Club (blog post, online image gallery).
